The Super Erecta wire shelving system from Metro delivers rugged, modular storage designed for busy spaces. Ideal for warehouses, workshops, backrooms, and retail back-of-house areas, it offers straightforward customization without sacrificing strength.

Features

• Dimensions and finish: 42" wide (42" W) × 21" deep (21" D) with a bright finish (Brite).
• Load capacity: 800 lb per level for shelves 48" wide or less (our 42" shelf qualifies) with evenly distributed weight. This makes it suitable for heavy tools, parts, and supplies on each tier.
• System capacity: Up to 2000 lb for complete shelf units when fully configured with shelves and posts.
• Mounting options: Designed for post and wall-mount configurations, offering flexible placement in both fixed and modular layouts.
• Ledges and compatibility: Shelf ledges are not included and must be ordered separately to customize edge containment.
• Freestanding vs. mobile: For freestanding setups, use 14" shelving foot plates. On mobile units, the maximum post height is 54".
• Sizing guidance: 14" shelving with posts higher than 74" is not recommended for stability.
