Stamped Metal Caster Sockets accept a standard 7/16" diameter friction ring caster stem. Typically used when a strong caster socket is needed. The steel platform rests on the bottom of the tubing and keeps the socket from " shearing" into the tube. Spring steel clips give excellent pullout resistance.
