Kitting Carts for Efficient Material Handling
Metro Kitting Carts streamline the movement and organization of totes, PCB carriers, trays, and other material handling containers across assembly lines, warehouses, and repair shops. Available in single, double, or triple bay configurations—and with an adjustable width option—the cart system adapts to your workflow and space needs.
Features
- Configurations: PT1C (single bay), PT2C (double bay), PT3C (triple bay) to match your container load and available space.
- Adjustable width option: APT1C supports 16–25 inches to fit tighter spaces or wider work zones.
- Casters: 2 brakes and 2 swivels, with a choice of resilient rubber or polyurethane tread for smooth, controlled movement on your floor.
-
Slide system by bay:
- Single bay: six S3C slides
- Double bay: six S3C single slides and three S4C double slides
- Triple bay: six S3C single slides and six S4C double slides
- Replacement parts: Extra slides are available and sold as eaches (S3C/S4C variants as needed).
- Compatibility and ordering: Designed for totes, PCB carriers, trays, and other common containers; categorized under Metro Kitting Carts, SKU: S3C for slides.
Benefits
- Enhances workflow by keeping containers organized on a cart that matches kit sizes and space constraints, reducing walk time and handling effort.
- Scales with your operation: start with a single-bay PT1C and add bays or adjust width later without replacing your system.
- Safe, precise mobility: two brakes keep the cart steady during pick, pack, and replenishment; swiveling casters enable easy navigation in tight aisles.
- Simplified maintenance: replace or upgrade slides as your kit assortment changes, with extra slides sold individually to fit evolving needs.
- Versatile for multiple environments: ideal for electronics assembly, lean manufacturing, warehousing, and other settings that require reliable kit organization and fast access.
- Practical setup tips: choose rubber treads for quiet operation on smooth floors or polyurethane for higher durability on rougher surfaces; consider the adjustable-width option when workspace is limited.
